Rohan Irvin has 15 years of production and reservoir engineering experience in the oil and gas industry including Woodside, Occidental Petroleum, Sheridan Production, Oilex and FAR Ltd. He has deep expertise in complex reservoirs and has spent his career developing large offshore fields in West Africa, Australia and the Middle East; and unconventional resources in the Permian Basin (USA), California, Australia and the Indian sub-continent.

With a strong entrepreneurial bent, Rohan has also co-founded Exigo, a digital collaboration platform for oil and gas production operations, and is the principal host of Crude Conversations, a podcast featuring leaders and legends of the upstream industry.

Charlie Lafkoff is an energy analyst with nearly four decades of diversified energy industry expertise, focusing on advising host governments on upstream strategy and promotion. In addition to generating prospects and evaluating E&P portfolios, he has extensive experience in analyzing industry and energy trends for host governments and their impact on business operations, interpreting subsurface, financial and economic data, performing competitor analyses and implementing strategies for the same.  Some examples of experience in specific countries include Angola, Barbados, Ecuador, South Africa and Venezuela.

Since 2000, Charlie has worked in strategic consulting as a subject matter expert, consultant, project manager and director for various clients in government, energy, manufacturing and IT. Before this he was employed by Kerr-McGee Corporation (now Anadarko) and its subsidiary companies in various technical, operations and financial positions.

Charlie holds a BA degree in Geology and Environmental Science from the City University of New York and an MBA from the University of Houston’s Executive Program.  He also completed additional PhD level studies for concentrations in Finance and International Business.

Peter Eilliott advises large cap companies and small start-ups in identifying and securing suitable growth assets in Africa using a solid mix of geotechnical and commercial capabilities as the founding principal of PVE Consulting Ltd. Recognized as a capable specialist in Sub-Saharan Africa, he has recent experience of building oil company JVs in from Morrocco to South Africa.

Peter is also founding principal of NVentures Ltd, an upstream exploration firm specializing in GIS-based technical and commercial intelligence for the E&P and Energy industry globally, including the newly breaking carbon sequestration, hydrogen and geothermal sectors.

Previously Peter went offshore with Halliburton in the early 1990s mud logging around the world, then joined IEDS (IHS SP Global) developing and maintaining a world class Middle East scout service. Joining Western Geophysical (Schlumberger) in the late 1990s Peter managed large seismic spec programs offshore West Africa and held a senior marketing role.

Peter holds a BSc degree in Geology from Sheffield University and an MSc Petroleum Geology from Aberdeen University.

Tom Darin provides innovative petrophysical and GIS-based exploration-oriented evaluation tools to the petroleum industry through the company he founded, GeoScience Software.  He is also a fully-integrated, explorationist actively developing play concepts and generating prospects in North America and internationally.

Before founding Geoscience, he had a long career in South East Asia with Exlog, Santa Fe, and as a consultant.

Tom holds a BSc in geology from Eastern Michigan University.
